Man, do I have a good one for you guys today! Brittney & Jake's day was one the most fun days I've had this year, not to mention the weather was amazing (in Pittsburgh, WHAT?!). But seriously, their day was so much fun and I am so honored to have been a part of it. The ceremony was held at one of my very favorite churches to photograph in, Heinz Chapel. Usually churches don't give you a whole lot of room for creativity during ceremonies, but not Heinz! So many cool doors and glass panels to make ceremony shots not only beautiful but also creative and artistic.
Brittney & Jake planned plenty of time between their ceremony and cocktail hour in order for us to get photos of family, the whole wedding party, and then the two of them. Let me tell you, that extra time PAID OFF because it allowed myself, Brittney and Jake to go to awesome locations to get photos of the two of them. Some of my favorite places to go to get cool views of the city for photos are the top of parking garages down town. You honestly can't go wrong with any of them, but the one that we went to on their day has particularly beautiful views. The best thing was once we got up there, there were no cars to be found! I have never been to the top of a garage to take photos and had zero cars up there, and it was amazing to have so much room to play around with!
Brittney & Jake, than you so much for asking me to be a part of your day! It was an honor to be a part of and you two are just the best. Please enjoy looking at these photos for your blog as much as I've enjoyed editing them!
